3M files lawsuit claiming Florida company attempted to sell N95 masks at inflated price
Minnesota-based 3M announced Tuesday that it has filed a lawsuit against a Florida company that allegedly tried to sell millions of "likely nonexistent" 3M N95 masks to the federal Division of Strategic National Stockpile.
In a press release, 3M identified the company as Geftico LLC.

The release said Geftico tried to sell the masks at a highly inflated price. The company also said Geftico said it was affiliated with 3M.
According to 3M, it is seeking injunctive relief against the company, as well as damages. The company plans to donate all damages it receives to organizations working to fight COVID-19.
The Minnesota-based company has also filed lawsuits in New York, Texas and California to fight price gouging and counterfeiting.
