Wild to hold blood drive at Xcel Energy Center
This was supposed to be the last week of the NHL season, but with that on hold, the Minnesota Wild wants to use its home arena to host a blood drive instead.
The Wild are teaming up with the American Red Cross to hold a blood drive April 15 at the empty Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
All workers will be wearing protective masks, and all donors will need to register ahead of time and have their temperatures taken before entering the arena.
All slots for the blood drive at Xcel Energy Center have been filled, but the need for blood remains. Visit the American Red Cross’s website to find a blood donation site near you.
