Nice Ride extends program offering free bikeshare memberships to health care workers

Tuesday, Nice Ride and its operator, Lyft, announced the Nice Ride Minnesota bikeshare system is extending its plan to help health care workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program gives critical health care workers free 30-day bikeshare memberships through June 5. It originally launched April 6.

The company said those already enrolled will automatically get an additional free 30-day membership. Health care workers can sign up through their employer to access unlimited 60-minute trips on bikes for 30 days.

Due to the pandemic, the company has also enhanced its cleaning protocols to increase safety for users.
