Minneapolis-based company helping dispose of old prescription drugs

A Minneapolis-based company is making it easier for you to get rid of your old prescription drugs.

Deterra, the creator of the drug deactivation and disposal system, is teaming up with a national nonprofit that hopes to end the opioid epidemic.

Through May 10, you can go online to request a large drug disposal pouch that will be sent to your home for free.
