MDH reports 4 additional hospitalizations for flu this season

In its most recent flu report, the Minnesota Department of Health reported four additional hospitalizations, bringing the state’s total to eight hospitalizations this flu season.

MDH also reported an additional school outbreak, bringing the state’s total to three this flu season.

MDH flu report: 1 outbreak found in long-term care setting

So far, only one outbreak has been reported in a long-term care setting.

According to MDH, there have been no flu-reated deaths, so far.

At this time, Minnesota is at a minimal level of flu activity. To the south, Iowa is experiencing very high activity.
