MDH reports 1 new flu-related death in past week

One new flu-related death was reported in Minnesota in the past week, according to the Minnesota Department of Health’s (MDH) latest flu activity report. The total number of flu-related deaths in the state now stands at 153, including three pediatric deaths.

Additionally, only two new hospitalizations were reported in the past week. A total of 4,148 flu-related hospitalizations in Minnesota have been reported this flu season.

The spread of influenza in the state remains at "sporadic," according to health officials.
