MDH flu report: State sees 1 hospitalization in past week
In its third flu report of the season, the Minnesota Department of Health reported only one additional hospitalization in the last week, bringing the state’s total to four hospitalizations, so far.
No flu deaths have been reported this season, according to MDH.

According to the weekly influenza and respiratory illness activity report, the most common strain early in the season appears to be influenza B.
No school outbreaks were cited in this week’s report. Only one school outbreak has been reported so far this season. No long-term care facilities have reported outbreaks at this time.
According to the report, Minnesota is at a minimal level of flu activity.
