M Health Fairview to waive co-pays for online COVID-19 consultations

M Health Fairview announced Thursday it would waive co-pays for online care for COVID-19 and other upper respiratory infections.

In a press release, the hospital said its virtual clinic, known as OnCare, is a way for people to receive care from a provider that does not require an in-person exam or test.

OnCare can be accessed by patients around the clock.

"We are committed to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by ensuring our patients have access to multiple options to receive medical consultation during this public health crisis," Associated Chief Nurse Executive Linda Wick said.

Those who may be experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 but do not have access to OnCare are asked to call M Health Fairview and 1-855-324-7843.
