Nearly 191,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year, according to the American Cancer Society, and many of them will have multiple treatment options to consider.

A new study published by the American Medical Association shows that for localized prostate cancer, the options have the same survival rate, but each comes with different side effects in the long run.
