Inside Your Health: Monkeypox

As of Tuesday, The CDC reports at least 460 cases of monkeypox across 31 states, including at least seven confirmed cases in Minnesota.

Monkeypox is in the same family of viruses as smallpox, but it is less severe. While there are antivirals for similar viruses, there is currently no medication specific to monkeypox.
