Inside Your Health: Minnesota’s worsening COVID-19 situation

COVID-19 case counts are hitting all-time highs in Minnesota and in states across the country. Data from Johns Hopkins University shows there have been more than 9.9 million cases of coronavirus in the U.S. so far.

Last week ABC News obtained a 400-page report on the status of states’ COVID-19 situations used to brief governors. The report states that Minnesota’s alarming rise in cases will lead to increasing hospitalizations and deaths and that a "more comprehensive mitigation strategy is needed."
