One in eight women in the U.S. will get breast cancer in their lifetimes, and over 4,400 Minnesota women will be diagnosed this year alone.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and serves as a reminder to get regular screenings for breast cancer.

But what are the guidelines for getting screened? KSTP’s health expert Archelle Georgiou explains in the video below.
