Wisconsin reports 144 new coronavirus cases, 6 new deaths
Wisconsin health officials on Monday reported 144 new cases of the coronavirus and six new deaths.
The Department of Health Services update shows that the number of COVID-19 cases across the state is 12,687. The total number of hospitalizations was 2,068.
Six new deaths were reported, bringing the state’s totals to 459.

Statewide, 144,502 tests have come back negative.
For most people, the coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks. For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia.
