U of M to move classes online for remainder of semester, cancel commencements
The University of Minnesota announced Monday it will move classes online for the remainder of the semester amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
The university is encouraging those students not to return to campus if possible.

University officials said they will ensure there is "sufficient residence all rooms available for students who truly have no other alternatives."
It was also announced that commencements would be canceled throughout the University of Minnesota systems.
While graduation ceremonies are canceled, students must continue to apply for graduation.
