U of M confirms student tested positive for COVID-19
The University of Minnesota announced Friday that the Minnesota Department of Health has confirmed a student has tested positive for COVID-19.
The university said in an email sent to students, faculty and staff that the student is in isolation off-campus and is being monitored by health professionals.

Those who were in proximity of the student are being notified by MDH, according to the university.
On Friday, MDH announced there are 14 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state.
