Twin Cities Pride postpones 2020 celebrations due to COVID-19 concerns

Organizers with Twin Cities Pride announced the postponement of the Pride Festival and Pride Parade due to COVID-19 concerns.

The celebrations are held every June.

"These decisions have been incredibly difficult for us to make. We are heartbroken for our 400 amazing vendors and small business partners who help us make Pride successful each year, on top of the tens of thousands of visitors who come from across the world to celebrate with us," the organization said in a statement. "Our organizers and volunteers have already spent countless hours exploring every possible option for us to celebrate Pride safely, and we are eternally grateful for their dedication and continued hard work."
