Tide offering free laundry services for front line workers, their families at 5 metro locations
As a thank you to front line workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Tide has announced free laundry services for front line workers and their immediate family members.
The service is being provided in select areas across the country, but includes five locations so far in the metro area:
- Chanhassen: 530 W. 79th St, Suite 130
- Excelsior: 426 Lake St
- Edina: 7131 France Ave South
- Maple Grove: 11680 Elm Creek Blvd N
- Apple Valley: 7562 149th St W
Tide Loads of Hope says the program offers free laundry and dry cleaning to the immediate family of front line responders (paramedics, doctors, nurses, hospital and medical staff, medical researchers), police officers and firefighters immediately through at least May 9, although the end date will continue to be evaluated.
The company said front line workers will have to show identification from their place of employment, and COVID-19 exposed clothing will be excluded from the service.
Tide also said it is working to add more participating locations across the country.
