Some Minnesota business owners glad to be reopening

A new group of businesses had the option to restart some of their business Monday, helping put about 30,000 Minnesotans back to work.

Vig Guitars on Snelling Avenue in St. Paul reopened for curbside drop off and pick-up.

"It’s a little strange, it feels good though," owner Ted Vig said.

The store is changing the way they do business.

"Every guitar that comes in has to be quarantined for a week before we can even open the case and look at it," Vig said.

The store developed a safety plan when customers are allowed inside the store. Everyone will have to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer, since disinfecting wipes can ruin a guitar’s finish."

"What we will have everybody do moving forward is use hand sanitizer before they play (the guitar), let it evaporate so your not touching alcohol to the guitar itself, and then play and then afterward rehandsanitze their hands," Vig said.
