Luck O’ The Lake postponed over COVID-19 concerns

The Luck O’ The Lake event in Excelsior scheduled for this weekend has been postponed over COVID-19 concerns.

The Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce announced the news Thursday.

Organizers said it was a difficult decision, but due to recent concerns and the rapidly developing situation, they thought rescheduling the 5K run, tent party and performers would be the best plan.

"We are disappointed to share this news with you and we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. We’re grateful to our incredible sponsors, volunteers, performers, runners and community members who have been gracious in this time of uncertainty," the chamber said.

A later date for the event was not immediately announced.
