Gov. Tim Walz signs 3 executive orders in response to COVID-19 pandemic

Gov. Tim Walz has signed a number of executive orders to help bolster Minnesota’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Executive order 20-06 will exempt vehicles involved in relief efforts from regulations that impact the amount of weight they are allowed to carry and their hours of service.

Walz also signed an executive order that will provide paid leave for state employees who are not able to work.

A third executive order allows veterans homes to restrict visitors, cutting the risk of spreading COVID-19.
