Local officials held a free drive-thru mask distribution event Wednesday in Eagan.
The Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce (DCRCC) said it held the event to ensure all employees and customers of businesses in the county have access to masks.
DCRCC said it had a supply of more than 280,000 masks to give away during the event, but there was a limit of up to four boxes of 50 masks per company. Businesses didn’t need to be chamber members to get free masks.
What to know about Minnesota’s mask mandate
The event ran from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Skyline Exhibits, which is near the intersection of Yankee Doodle Road and Lexington Avenue.
