DVS cancels road tests at exam stations over COVID-19 concerns
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Driver and Vehicle Services division announced Tuesday it is canceling all road tests until March 27 over COVID-19 concerns.
According to a news release from the Department of Safety, those who have a test scheduled will receive a cancellation by email or text message.
DPS said the decision was made because it is difficult to practice social distancing during a driving test.
Other services including knowledge testing and driver’s license applications will continue to be available.
