Department of Corrections: Prison visits suspended in Minnesota
As concerns grow over the COVID-19 outbreak, the Minnesota Department of Corrections announced Friday it is suspending visits for a minimum of two weeks.

"We recognize the importance of inmates’ connections to their family, friends, and support networks so we are also exploring ways to expand the availability of electronic visiting, including potential reduction or waiver of fees," the department said in a statement.
As of Thursday morning, there are five confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Minnesota.
