Cruise ship docks in New Jersey, CDC to test 12 quarantined passengers
A cruise ship with 12 Chinese nationals, who have experienced symptoms, docked in New Jersey Friday morning, where those individuals will be tested for coronavirus.
According to ABC affiliate WPVI-TV, the quarantined passengers will be tested by officials from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
An official told WPVI-TV there is no indication any of the passengers actually have the virus, but that the testing is being done out of an abundance of caution.
The CDC reports 12 people are confirmed to have the virus in the United States.
