COVID-19 in Wisconsin: Total tests completed eclipses 1M, 884 new cases and 9 new deaths
Wisconsin health officials reported 884 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, bringing the total number of positive tests in the state to 56,940 since the pandemic started.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) also reported nine additional deaths, which brings the state total to 970.
The state eclipsed a million tests completed during the pandemic on Wednesday, with a total of 1,001,924.
The state also reported 4,826 people have been hospitalized since the pandemic began.
As of Wednesday, DHS says 944,984 people have tested negative for COVID-19.
More than 81% of COVID-19 cases in the state of Wisconsin have recovered thus far.
