COVID-19 in Wisconsin: Total of 2,825 confirmed cases, 104 deaths
A total of 2,825 positive COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Wisconsin as of Wednesday, with 104 deaths. That’s an increase of 91 cases and six deaths since Tuesday.
Of those cases, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services said 29% of cases have required hospitalization of some kind. A total of 30,115 tests have come back negative in the state.
Milwaukee County remains the hardest hit in Wisconsin, accounting for 1,461 positive cases and 58 deaths as of Wednesday. According to WISN, 70% of the Milwaukee County victims have been African American.
Wisconsin has not been updating the number of patients who have recovered and are no longer exhibiting symptoms.
