COVID-19 in Wisconsin: At least 6,520 cases, 308 deaths
Wisconsin health officials reported 231 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, bringing the state’s total to 6,520 cases.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported eight new COVID-19 deaths, increasing the state’s total to 308.
The DHS said, as of Wednesday, 66,630 people have tested negative.
Of all cases in Wisconsin, 1,489 have required hospitalization, which is 23% of all cases. Meanwhile, 3,210 have recovered so far and are no longer in isolation, which accounts for 49% of all cases.
Milwaukee County continues to be hit hardest by COVID-19 in Wisconsin, accounting for 2,815 cases and 177 deaths, as of Wednesday.
