COVID-19 in Wisconsin: At least 6,289 cases, 300 deaths
Wisconsin health officials reported 208 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, bringing the state’s total to 6,289 cases.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 19 new COVID-19 deaths, increasing the state’s total to 300.
The DHS said, as of Tuesday, 63,535 people have tested negative.
Of all cases in Wisconsin, 1,456 have required hospitalization, which is 23% of all cases. Meanwhile, 3,029 have recovered so far and are no longer in isolation, which accounts for 48% of all cases.
Milwaukee County continues to be hit hardest by COVID-19 in Wisconsin, accounting for 2,722 cases and 174 deaths, as of Tuesday.
