COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 900 new cases, 4 additional deaths

Wisconsin health officials reported 900 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday, bringing the state’s total to 39,627 positive cases.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) also reported four new COVID-19 deaths, moving the state’s total to 831.

The DHS said, as of Thursday, 699,670 people have tested negative.

Of all cases in Wisconsin, 3,968 people have required hospitalization.

In total, 77% of patients have recovered, meaning 30 days passed since the onset of symptoms or their diagnosis or their release from isolation was documented.
