COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 82 new deaths, 3,777 new cases

Wisconsin health officials on Wednesday announced 82 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 3,502 deaths since the pandemic began.

Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 197 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 17,569.

A total of 395,090 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 3,777 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that more than 2.55 million people have been tested in the state.

The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 31.0%.
