COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 7 new deaths, 52 new hospitalizations

Friday, Wisconsin health officials announced seven new deaths related to COVID-19, increasing the state’s total to 1,153 deaths since the pandemic began.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 52 new hospitalizations, creating a total of 5,998 hospitalizations during the pandemic.

A total of 79,354 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 1,498 new cases reported Friday.
DHS reported that 1,289,557 people have been tested in the state.
