COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 7 more deaths, 47 new hospitalizations

Wisconsin health officials on Friday announced seven new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 1,238 deaths since the pandemic began.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 47 new hospitalizations, creating a total of 6,569 hospitalizations during the pandemic.

A total of 97,279 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 2,533 new cases reported Friday.

As of Friday, DHS reports that 1,412,537 people have been tested in the state.
