COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 58 new deaths, 7,777 new cases
Wisconsin health officials on Friday announced 58 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 2,573 deaths since the pandemic began.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 274 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 14,045.
A total of 301,165 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 7,777 new cases reported Friday.

As of Friday, DHS reports that 2.27 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 36.2%.
