COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 54 new deaths, 1,301 new cases
Tuesday, Wisconsin health officials announced 54 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 5,753 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 135 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 23,883.
A total of 535,218 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 1,301 new cases reported Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, DHS reports that more than 3.01 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 20.1%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 846,300 vaccine doses, so far. Of those, 362,505 had been administered as of Tuesday.
