COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 4,389 new cases, 12 more deaths
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 4,389 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the state’s cumulative case count to 315,758.
The state added another 12 deaths from the virus. To date, 2,649 people have died of COVID-19 complications in Wisconsin.
According to the DHS data, an additional 118 people were admitted to the hospital to be treated for COVID-19. Currently, there are 2,097 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, with 446 in intensive care. A total of 14,499 COVID-19 patients have needed hospitalization in Wisconsin.
So far 243,841 people have recovered from the illness and no longer require isolation.
