COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 34 new deaths, 1,328 new cases

Wisconsin health officials on Wednesday announced 34 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 5,787 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 93 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 23,976.
A total of 536,546 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 1,328 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that more than 3.02 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 19.3%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 846,300 vaccine doses, so far. Of those, 389,240 had been administered as of Wednesday.
