COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 16 new deaths, 141 additional hospitalizations

Wisconsin health officials on Wednesday announced 16 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 1,415 deaths since the pandemic began.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 141 new hospitalizations, creating a total of 7,951 hospitalizations during the pandemic.

A total of 138,698 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 2,319 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that 1,632,002 people have been tested in the state.
