COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 10,902 cases, 421 deaths
Wisconsin health officials reported 291 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, bringing the state’s total to 10,902 cases.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) also reported three new COVID-19 deaths, increasing the state’s total to 421.
The DHS said, as of Wednesday, 117,111 people have tested negative.
Of all cases in Wisconsin, 1,908 have required hospitalization, which is 18%. Meanwhile, 5,673 people are recovering and are no longer in isolation, which accounts for 52% of all cases.
Milwaukee County continues to be hit hardest by COVID-19 in Wisconsin, accounting for 4,215 cases and 236 deaths, as of Wednesday.
