Costco limits the amount of meat shoppers can purchase

Costco announced it will limit the number of meat items shoppers are able to purchase during visits to the store.

According to the company, fresh meat will be limited to a total of three items per member among beef, pork and poultry products.

The move comes after operations at a number of meatpacking plants have been impacted due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

During the outbreak, Costco has implemented a number of temporary policies for shoppers.
