Coronavirus case confirmed in San Diego

A coronavirus case was confirmed in San Diego Monday, according to KGTV, an ABC affiliate.

KGTV reported the individual was aboard the first flight from Wuhan, China to Miramar last Wednesday.

An official who spoke with KGTV said the individual is an adult. It’s unclear whether the patient is a man or a woman at this time.

The individual was taken to the UC San Diego Medical Center for treatment and is in isolation. They are in good condition, health officials say.
