Blaine closes playgrounds, parks remain open

The city of Blaine announced Thursday it would close playgrounds in city parks due to the spread of COVID-19.

The city said the playgrounds will be taped off and closed signs will be posted.

While the playgrounds are closed, parks remain open. The city urges anyone using the parks to practice social distancing.
