4th Minnesota case sent to CDC for coronavirus returns negative

A possible coronavirus case from Minnesota sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for testing has returned negative.

According to an update from the Minnesota Department of Health, tests for four potential cases of the new virus have returned negative.

The health department said if the virus is confirmed in Minnesota and spreads, there are multiple tools in its toolbox, which could potentially include closing schools or canceling public gatherings, or possibly requesting faith communities hold services via video.

According to the Associated Press, more than 83,000 people have fallen ill with the coronavirus.
