3,341 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin; death toll rises to 144

Wisconsin health officials reported 128 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the state’s total to 3,341.

Seven more patients died of the coronavirus disease, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. So far 144 Wisconsinites have died of COVID-19.

The state also reported 974 people, or 29% of all patients, had been hospitalized with the virus. Of those, 261 have required intensive care.

Wisconsin laboratories have tested 39,257 people for COVID-19, and 91% of those tests have come back negative. State health officials do not release the number of patients who have recovered.
