9-year-old honorary Rochester police officer returns to hospital

A young boy, struggling with his health, is back at Mayo Clinic.

Nine-year-old Coltin Kenning has become a special part of the Rochester community after he was named an honorary officer in 2019 by the Rochester Police Department.

According to a post by Olmsted County Sheriff Kevin Torgerson, Coltin is going on three weeks in the Intensive Care Unit with no end in sight. Coltin’s mother asks people to keep him in their thoughts and prayers.

Coltin has been diagnosed with 40 different health conditions over his lifetime.
