1 new flu-related death in past week, MDH reports

One new flu-related death was reported in Minnesota in the past week, according to the Minnesota Department of Health’s (MDH) latest flu activity report. The total number of flu-related deaths in the state now stands at 152, including three pediatric deaths.

However, no new hospitalizations were reported in the past week. A total of 4,146 flu-related hospitalizations in Minnesota have been reported this flu season.

The spread of influenza in the state remained at "sporadic" last week, according to health officials.
