COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 62 new deaths, 7,048 new cases
Wednesday, Wisconsin health officials announced 62 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 2,457 deaths since the pandemic began.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 277 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 13,507.
A total of 285,891 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 7,048 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that 2.23 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 35.9%.
