Waite Park jewelry store burglarized, no suspects in custody

The Waite Park Police Department is investigating a burglary that happened at a jewelry store early Friday morning.

According to police, officers responded at about 12:44 a.m. to a burglary alarm at Wedding Day Diamonds, located at 44 Division Street.

Authorities say an unknown suspect entered the business through a window that was broken open. Several jewelry items were taken from inside the store.

Police say a description of the suspect is limited due to the suspect wearing several layers of clothing and a face mask. Video from the area shows the suspect may have some facial injuries as the suspect fell face-first onto the pavement from the broken window that was used to enter the store.
