COVID-19 in Wisconsin: Deaths and confirmed cases slightly down after mid-week spike
Wisconsin health officials on Friday announced five new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 1,353 deaths since the pandemic began.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 97 new hospitalizations, creating a total of 7,506 hospitalizations during the pandemic.

A total of 127,906 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 2,745 new cases reported Friday.
As of Friday, DHS reports that 1,573,477 people have been tested in the state.
Wisconsin’s seven-day average testing positivity rate is at 9.3%.
