Man robbed at knifepoint in Waite Park, police searching for suspects

Police are investigating a reported robbery Thursday night in Waite Park.

According to Waite Park Police, the victim was driving when two men flagged him down near New York Gyro in St. Cloud and asked him for a ride to Waite Park.

The victim dropped the men off in the 500 block of Third Street South in Waite Park and, as they were getting out of the vehicle, one of the suspects pulled a knife out and demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim handed it over and wasn’t injured.

The suspects are described as Black men in their late teens or early 20s, both about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. One was wearing a red shirt with black shorts while the other had on a light blue or white jacket.
