2 injured after plane crash in Lake Elmo

Two people were taken to a hospital Friday afternoon after a plane crash in Lake Elmo.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, a small airplane crash was reported near the Lake Elmo Airport at 3:14 p.m.

Deputies and emergency personnel responded to the area near the southwest corner of Stillwater Boulevard North and Manning Avenue North and found two adults suffering non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to a hospital.

The plane crash is under investigation.
